Application Description: Many machine shops and machine builders will mark their parts with the standard hammer and punch. We were recently contacted by a machine shop that would produce several of the same parts on a regular basis and often struggled with the amount of time required to produce a single stamped part number.

Solution Description: Through testing the customer found that it takes an average of 2 minutes 16 seconds to complete this task with a manual punch and hammer. We were able to save an average of 2 minutes 10 seconds (including load and unload) with our FRG-20 - 20 Watt Fiber Laser.

The customer was extremely happy with their ability to provide a faster and consistent mark as well as a more professional presentation.
